Classroom training and range exercises are held at the Clark County Shooting Complex Education Center at 11357 N. Decatur Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89131
The Nevada P.I.L.B. Armed Guard Course is a 13-hour, 2-day class consisting of 8 hours in the classroom on day 1 and 5 hours on the range on day 2 with live fire exercises and a shooting qualification. The following items are required for admittance into class:
$200 per person $25 for P.I.L.B. Signed VEAS form Valid Guard Card
In addition, live fire exercise requirements are as follows:
Firearm with same caliber and action type as duty weapon
150 rounds of ball ammo
Holster
2 Magazines
Appropriate range attire
Closed-toe footwear suitable for movement
